Avocado and coconut milk make a creamy base for pineapple, lime, spinach, and banana. Citrus keeps the richer ingredients from overwhelming the fruit. The larger blend is divided into two portions, providing a different balance from a simple avocado-and-milk drink.

Ingredients
- 0.5 cup frozen pineapple
- 2 cup packed fresh spinach
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and stone removed
- 1 frozen banana, peeled
- 0.75 cup light canned coconut milk
- 3 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 0.5 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- Pinch sea salt
- 8 ice cubes
Directions
- Put the measured liquid in the blender with the prepared leafy greens. Secure the lid and process until the leaves are finely dispersed, stopping the machine before scraping down the sides if needed.
- Add the remaining edible ingredients, including the measured fruit, nuts, seeds, or spices listed for this recipe. Blend until evenly combined. Use the machine instructions to choose a suitable speed, and stop before checking texture or scraping the jug.
- Taste a small spoonful after blending. If the mixture is too thick to pour, add cold water one tablespoon at a time and blend briefly again. Divide the base batch into 2 equal servings and enjoy promptly.
Notes
Prepared ingredients are required; additional cooking, cooling, freezing, brewing, or soaking time is excluded from the active prep estimate. Serving volume and nutrition totals are not measured.

Tips and ingredient notes
Measure juice and zest separately. Zest only colored lime skin, avoiding the bitter white layer. This version chooses light canned coconut milk from the alternatives in its source so the intended base is clear.
Remove tough pineapple peel and the firmest core before measuring fresh flesh. For frozen fruit, separate the chunks so they reach the blades evenly. A fibrous pineapple can leave texture even after the softer ingredients have become smooth.
Choose avocado that mashes easily and measure only sound edible flesh. Firm pieces can remain lumpy after softer fruit has blended. When changing avocado quantity, adjust gradually because extra avocado changes the body more noticeably than the same volume of juicy fruit.
Ingredient health benefits
- Pineapple adds dietary fiber, which supports normal bowel function.
