Blueberries and banana make a familiar fruit base, while Greek yogurt and cashew milk add a tangy background. This differs from our apple-juice blueberry smoothie by using a fuller dairy component. Frozen berries keep it cold without a large quantity of ice.

Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup unsweetened cashew milk
- 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 0.5 banana, peeled
Directions
- Pour the measured liquid into the blender. Add the softer prepared ingredients first, keeping the frozen pieces separated so they can move toward the blades instead of forming a solid block above them.
- Add the remaining edible ingredients, including the measured fruit, nuts, seeds, or spices listed for this recipe. Blend until evenly combined. Use the machine instructions to choose a suitable speed, and stop before checking texture or scraping the jug.
- Taste a small spoonful after blending. If the mixture is too thick to pour, add cold water one tablespoon at a time and blend briefly again. Divide the base batch into 1 serving and enjoy promptly.
Notes
Contains tree nuts, milk. Prepared ingredients are required; additional cooking, cooling, freezing, brewing, or soaking time is excluded from the active prep estimate. Serving volume and nutrition totals are not measured.

Tips and ingredient notes
Choose plain yogurt instead of blueberry-flavored yogurt. Combine milk and yogurt before adding frozen fruit. The source's collagen supplement is omitted, so future nutrition calculations must use this revised ingredient list.
Blueberry skins can leave fine specks even when a smoothie is evenly blended. Frozen berries also darken the color more than some other fruits. Judge the texture by tasting a small spoonful instead of expecting a completely uniform visual appearance.
Plain yogurt keeps the fruit and spice balance easier to control. Greek-style products are usually thicker than ordinary natural yogurt, so the same spoon measure can produce a different pour. Blend first, then adjust with small measured additions of liquid if necessary.
Ingredient health benefits
- Greek yogurt provides calcium, which helps maintain bones and teeth.
- Berries add dietary fiber, which supports normal bowel function.
