Coconut Peach Orange Green Smoothie

Peach and orange give coconut milk a fruity lift in this spinach blend. It is creamy without banana, offering a different texture from many standard green smoothies. Frozen peach helps chill the mixture while orange gives it a brighter finish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut beverage
  • 1 cup frozen peach slices
  • 0.5 orange, peeled and seeded

Directions

  1. Put the measured liquid in the blender with the prepared leafy greens. Secure the lid and process until the leaves are finely dispersed, stopping the machine before scraping down the sides if needed.
  2. Add the remaining edible ingredients, including the measured fruit, nuts, seeds, or spices listed for this recipe. Blend until evenly combined. Use the machine instructions to choose a suitable speed, and stop before checking texture or scraping the jug.
  3. Taste a small spoonful after blending. If the mixture is too thick to pour, add cold water one tablespoon at a time and blend briefly again. Divide the base batch into 1 serving and enjoy promptly.

Notes

Prepared ingredients are required; additional cooking, cooling, freezing, brewing, or soaking time is excluded from the active prep estimate. Serving volume and nutrition totals are not measured.

Tips and ingredient notes

Use plain carton coconut beverage for the default recipe. Peel the orange before measuring. Separate frozen peach wedges instead of adding a solid block that may rest above the moving blades.

Peel the orange fully and remove hard seeds before adding it. A little white pith is normal, but thick peel creates bitterness. Smaller segments release juice sooner, which is useful when the recipe starts with only a modest amount of added liquid.

Check fresh peaches for stones before measuring the flesh. Frozen slices offer convenience, but should be separated before blending. Skin may remain visible in the finished drink; that is different from finding hard pieces of fruit that still need processing.

Ingredient health benefits

  • Spinach contributes magnesium, involved in normal muscle and nerve function.
  • Peach adds dietary fiber, which supports normal bowel function.
